Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include processing deliveries using handheld devices, conducting daily vehicle inspections, ensuring the security of delivery vehicles and collected funds, handling customer returns, and reporting vehicle maintenance needs. Must possess a state driver's license and meet eligibility requirements. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations are essential. Required Qualifications
- Legally required state driver's license
- Driving record must meet standard set in company's 14/18-point record system
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
