Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, while also handling C.O.D. deliveries, collecting payments, and managing customer returns. Responsibilities include using delivery fleet management devices, ensuring vehicle maintenance and cleanliness, securing delivery items, and reporting vehicle issues. Candidates are required to have strong communication skills, a valid state driver's license, and a clean driving record. Additional tasks may involve general customer service duties such as stocking and assisting in merchandising.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
