Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and communicate special needs to store management. Clock in/out per policy and secure all keys, fuel cards, and monies at the end of the day. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashier tasks. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
