Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers, ensuring safe and efficient delivery. Key responsibilities include processing deliveries with handheld devices, collecting C.O.D. payments, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security, and handling customer returns. Required qualifications include strong communication skills, a valid state driver's license, and a good driving record. Candidates with knowledge of automotive parts and bilingual abilities are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
