Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver parts and products to professional customers, collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, and pick up customer returns. Responsibilities include operating company vehicles, using delivery fleet management devices, inspecting vehicles, securing delivery vehicles, and communicating any customer issues to store management. Required skills include strong interpersonal communication and adaptability. Candidates should have a valid driver's license that meets company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
