Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for safely delivering parts and products to customers, collecting cash on C.O.D. deliveries, and managing vehicle maintenance and inspections. Key responsibilities include operating company vehicles, handling deliveries using fleet management devices, securing delivery vehicles and collected monies, and assisting in customer service tasks as needed. The position requires a state driver's license, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills, with a preference for candidates familiar with automotive parts and fluent in multiple languages.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
