Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers while collecting C.O.D. payments and picking up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicles, secure keys and monies, and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties including stocking, merchandising, and cashier assistance. A valid driver's license, ability to match alphanumeric sequences, and strong communication skills are required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
