Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating company vehicles to safely deliver parts and products to customers, maintaining cleanliness and security of delivery vehicles, and completing daily inspections. Duties also include processing deliveries using fleet management devices, managing cash for C.O.D. deliveries, handling customer returns, and communicating effectively with management regarding delivery issues. Required skills include the ability to match alphanumeric sequences, strong interpersonal communication, and adaptability to changing situations, alongside having a valid driver’s license and meeting driving eligibility criteria.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
