Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, and picking up customer returns. This role includes using delivery fleet management hand-held devices for processing deliveries and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles. Candidates must possess a valid state driver's license and have a good driving record. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations are required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
