Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, managing C.O.D. deliveries, and picking up customer returns. Key responsibilities include using delivery fleet management devices, ensuring vehicle maintenance and cleanliness, collecting and securing customer payments, and communicating customer needs to management. Candidates should have strong communication skills, be adaptable in changing situations, and possess a valid state driver's license. The role may also involve general customer service tasks and assisting in-store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
