Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Key duties include processing deliveries using hand-held devices, collecting C.O.D. payments, and picking up customer returns. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills, a valid state driver's license, and a clean driving record. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with customer service and general stocking tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
