Job Summary
Delivery Specialist responsible for operating store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, processing COD deliveries, collecting monies, picking up customer returns, and supporting store operations. Responsibilities include using fleet-management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage and vehicle inspections, keeping vehicles and equipment secure, assisting with customer service, cashiering, merchandising, and other duties as assigned. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; fluency in Spanish is highly desired. Requires a valid state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, with adherence to safety and company policies; opportunities for career growth and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
