Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist operates store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently, collects payments for C.O.D. deliveries, and handles customer returns. Key responsibilities include maintaining delivery vehicle cleanliness and security, using fleet management devices, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting with customer service tasks as needed. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, adaptability to changing situations, and meeting strict driving eligibility requirements. Familiarity with automotive parts is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
