Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include delivering products, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, and picking up customer returns. Daily tasks require operating delivery fleet management devices, completing vehicle inspections, and securing delivery vehicles and funds. The position demands strong interpersonal skills, the ability to adapt to changing situations, and compliance with driving eligibility standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
