Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers while maintaining safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, processing deliveries through hand-held devices, inspecting vehicles, picking up customer returns, and securing vehicles. Required skills include strong interpersonal communication, adaptability to changing situations, and a compliant driving record. Bilingual candidates are preferred, especially those fluent in Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
