Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and fill out driver return slips while communicating special needs to store management. Maintain and secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and monies; complete daily vehicle inspections, keep vehicles clean, and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Ensure fuel tanks are filled and secure vehicles at end of day. Clock in/out per policy and perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashier assistance. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
