Job Summary
Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, including COD collections and processing returns. Responsibilities include using fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, log vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections; keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and money secure; assist with customer service, cashiering, merchandising, stocking, and running errands as business dictates; may assist customers and service tasks as needed. Qualifications emphasize strong communication, adaptability to delivery scenarios, and a valid state driver’s license. Bilingual (Spanish) is highly desired, with potential incentives and a comprehensive benefits package referenced by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
