Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers while collecting C.O.D. payments and picking up returns. Use fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicles, secure keys and fuel cards, and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Communicate customer issues to management, fill out return slips, and ensure fuel is topped off before end-of-day locking and securing the vehicle. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned tasks including customer service, stocking, and merchandising. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish fluency
