Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, and picking up customer returns. Key duties include using delivery fleet management devices, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security, communicating customer needs to management, performing daily vehicle inspections, and assisting with customer service tasks like cashiering and merchandising. Required skills include strong communication abilities, adaptability to changing situations, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
