Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist maintains and operates store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include processing deliveries using hand-held devices, collecting C.O.D. payments, picking up customer returns, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and maintenance, and communicating any customer issues. Required qualifications include strong communication skills, quick adaptation to changing situations, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record. Additional duties may involve customer service tasks and assisting in merchandising.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
