Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to safely deliver parts and products to customers, collect C.O.D. payment, and handle customer returns. Key functions include using delivery fleet management devices for processing deliveries, performing daily vehicle inspections, and ensuring the security of delivery vehicles and collected payments. This role may also involve general customer service tasks and assisting with merchandising when needed. Required skills include strong communication, the ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences, and a compliant driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
