Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and ensuring fuel tanks are filled. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and communicate special needs to store management. Secure keys, fuel cards, and monies collected at all times. Clock in/out per policy and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Perform additional duties including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers when business dictates. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired. Competitive wages, PTO, and stock purchase plan available.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
