Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver parts and products to customers, collect C.O.D. payments, and manage customer returns. Key responsibilities include using delivery fleet management devices, completing daily vehicle inspections, ensuring vehicle maintenance and security, communicating customer needs to management, and performing additional duties such as customer service and merchandising as required. Required skills include strong communication, quick adaptability, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
