Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing daily inspections. Secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times, reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately to store management. Fill out driver return slips for new, warranty, and core returns, and communicate special customer needs to store leadership. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties including stocking, merchandising, and cashier tasks. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
