Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers, collect COD payments, and pick up customer returns. Responsibilities include processing deliveries with hand-held devices, capturing customer signatures, updating vehicle mileage, performing daily vehicle inspections, keeping vehicles and monies secure, and assisting with customer service, cashiering, and merchandising as needed. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The role emphasizes safe delivery operations, vehicle maintenance, communication with store management, and adherence to company policies. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
- Experience with warehouse or retail delivery operations (implied by duties)
