Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner while using fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries and capture signatures. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and communicate special needs to store management. Clock in/out according to policy and secure all keys, fuel cards, and monies at the end of the day. Perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks. A legally required state driver's license and strong interpersonal communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
