The Delivery Specialist operates company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers, ensuring safe and efficient delivery. This role includes collecting payments on C.O.D. deliveries, managing customer returns, and maintaining delivery vehicle security and cleanliness. Essential skills include strong communication, quick adaptability to changing situations, and a valid state driver's license. Additional responsibilities may include assisting customers, cashiering, and merchandising tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
