Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and ensuring fuel is filled. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and fill out driver return slips. Communicate customer issues to store management and report accidents or damage immediately. Secure all keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies at all times. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties such as stocking, merchandising, and cashiering. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish fluency
