Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver parts and products to customers. Key duties include processing deliveries with handheld devices, collecting C.O.D. payments, securing delivery vehicles, and handling customer returns. Required skills include strong communication, ability to adapt to changing situations, and meeting driving eligibility requirements. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with automotive parts and bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish. Additional customer service and merchandising tasks may be assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
