Job Summary
Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and perform related duties including customer service, basic merchandising, and stocking. Responsibilities include using fleet management devices to process deliveries, capturing customer signatures, performing daily vehicle inspections, keeping vehicles and equipment secure, and communicating issues to store management. The role may involve cashiering, assisting customers, and other duties as assigned; bilingual ability (Spanish) is highly desired and opportunities for career growth, benefits, and a promote-from-within culture are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
