Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner while collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and securing keys, fuel cards, and collected monies. Communicate customer issues to store management and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Perform additional duties including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks when business dictates. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
