Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, and pick up customer returns. The role requires using delivery fleet management devices, maintaining the cleanliness and security of vehicles, and communicating with customers and management about any delivery issues. Essential skills include matching alphanumeric sequences, strong interpersonal communication, and adaptability in delivery situations. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
