Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist operates company vehicles to safely deliver parts and products to customers and is responsible for collecting C.O.D. payments and picking up customer returns. Essential functions include keeping vehicles secure and well-maintained, using delivery management devices, and reporting vehicle maintenance needs. Required skills include strong communication and adaptability in various delivery situations, along with a valid state driver's license that meets company standards. Additional responsibilities may include customer service, general stocking, and assisting with merchandising tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
