Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, picking up customer returns, maintaining and securing delivery vehicles, executing vehicle inspections, and communicating customer needs to store management. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to adapt to situations, possess a valid driver's license and meet driving eligibility standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
