Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, while also collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and security of delivery vehicles, using delivery fleet management devices, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and communicating any issues back to store management. This role involves customer service tasks such as assisting customers and handling merchandise when necessary. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, a valid state driver's license, and the ability to adapt to changing delivery situations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
