Job Summary
Delivery Specialist operates store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to customers, collects COD payments, and handles customer returns. Responsibilities include maintaining and inspecting delivery vehicles, using handheld devices to process deliveries and capture signatures, keeping assets secure, assisting with cashiering and merchandising as needed, and communicating any issues to store management. Bilingual (Spanish) is highly desired; driving and safety are emphasized with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Legally required state driver’s license
- Clean driving record per company policy
- Ability to operate delivery fleet management handheld devices
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Ability to pick up customer returns and handle monetary transactions
- Proficiency in basic math and cash handling
- Desire for bilingual capability (Spanish highly desired)
- Adaptability to changing delivery situations
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to safety and safeguarding assets (vehicles, keys, fuel cards)
