Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist operates company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers, ensuring safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include processing deliveries with hand-held devices, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, communicating customer needs to management, reporting vehicle issues, and performing additional duties like customer service and merchandising. Candidates must have strong communication skills, adapt to changing situations, and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
