The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers, ensuring safe and efficient delivery. Responsibilities include operating company vehicles, managing delivery logistics with handheld devices, securing vehicles and collected money, picking up customer returns, and communicating with store management on customer needs. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a good driving record, and the ability to adapt to changing situations. Additional duties may involve customer service and general support tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
