Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers while collecting C.O.D. payments and picking up returns. Use fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage, then complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness. Secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times, reporting any accidents or damage immediately to store management. Fill out driver return slips, communicate customer issues to management, and ensure fuel tanks are filled before securing vehicles at day's end. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned tasks including stocking, merchandising, cashier duties, and handling core returns. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
