Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to safely deliver parts and products to professional customers, collect payments for C.O.D. deliveries, and handle customer returns. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security, managing delivery documentation, reporting vehicle issues, and completing daily vehicle inspections. The role requires quick adaptation to delivery changes, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a valid state driver's license. Additional tasks may involve customer service and merchandising duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
