Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers efficiently and safely. This role includes processing deliveries using fleet management devices, securing vehicles and collected funds, and performing daily vehicle inspections. Additional responsibilities encompass customer communication regarding issues, picking up returns, and supporting store operations through customer service and general merchandising tasks. Applicants are required to have a valid state driver's license and meet the company's driving eligibility standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
