Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers while collecting C.O.D. money and picking up returns. Use hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage, then complete daily vehicle inspections before driving. Secure all keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies, and report any maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Fill out driver return slips, communicate customer issues to management, and ensure the fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is locked at day's end. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties including customer service, sweeping, stocking, and merchandising. Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid state license. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
