Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist maintains and operates store vehicles to deliver parts/products to customers safely and efficiently, collects money on C.O.D. deliveries, and picks up customer returns. Responsibilities include using delivery fleet management devices, conducting daily vehicle inspections, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, communicating issues to management, and performing various customer service tasks. The position requires strong communication skills, adaptability to changing situations, and a valid state driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
