Job Summary
Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes collecting COD payments, picking up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.), and may assist with cashiering and merchandising tasks when business demands. Responsibilities include using delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections; maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security of vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies; reporting maintenance needs or accidents to management; ensuring fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are secured at day’s end; clocking in/out per policy; and performing other duties such as customer service, stocking, and general merchandising as assigned. Desired: familiarity with automotive parts and Spanish language skills. Required Qualifications
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Driving record must meet the company standard (14/18-point system)
- Ability to operate delivery fleet management hand-held devices
