Job Summary
Delivery Specialist responsible for operating vehicle fleet to deliver parts/products to professional customers, processing COD deliveries, collecting payments, and handling customer returns. Responsibilities include using fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, performing daily vehicle inspections, keeping vehicles and equipment secure, assisting with customer service and merchandising tasks as needed, and adhering to safety and company policies. Bilingual candidates encouraged; familiarity with automotive parts and ability to work in a retail parts environment are pluses.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
