Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating company vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver parts and products to customers, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and handling customer returns. Essential functions include maintaining delivery vehicles, performing daily vehicle inspections, utilizing delivery fleet management devices, and communicating customer needs to management. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, possess a valid driver's license, and adapt effectively to changing situations. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
