Job Summary
Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner; will also collect money on COD deliveries and pick up customer returns. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include using fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, and keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure. May assist customers as a cashier and with merchandising tasks; other duties as assigned. Requires strong communication, adaptability to changing delivery situations, and a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; benefits package includes medical/dental/vision, 401k with employer contributions, PTO, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
