Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist maintains and operates store vehicles for delivering parts and products to customers safely and efficiently while managing C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Key responsibilities include operating delivery vehicles, using fleet management devices, conducting vehicle inspections, and ensuring security of delivery assets. Strong communication skills and rapid adaptation to delivery situations are essential, along with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Additional duties may involve customer service and merchandising tasks when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
