Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage while completing daily vehicle inspections and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times, reporting any maintenance needs or accidents immediately to store management. Perform additional duties including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers when business dictates. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
