The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, while also handling C.O.D. deliveries and customer returns. Key duties include maintaining delivery vehicles, using delivery fleet management devices, ensuring vehicle security, and communicating customer needs to store management. Required skills include quick alphanumeric matching, strong communication, and adaptability. A valid state driver's license is necessary, along with a clean driving record. Additional tasks may involve customer service, stocking, and other assistance as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
